BD & Sales Manager - Europe
[Job Summary]
We are a large high-tech enterprise located in China. Our main business is to provide autonomous vehicles and total solutions for ports, logistics parks and airports. We now need some European-based sales managers to open up markets for our products. If you have the resources and clients, please feel free to check out the job descriptions below. We only have an office in Europe in Edinburgh, so you can work in your own city.
Relevant Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in selling port
machinery or port machinery-related accessories in Europe. This experience could be in
the form of sales roles, business development, or account management positions.
Technical knowledge: The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of port
machinery or port machinery-related accessories, including their technical specifications,
applications, and industry trends.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for candidates in this
role. They should be able to communicate effectively with clients, understand their
needs, and present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Sales and Business Development Skills: Candidates should be skilled in identifying new
business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and closing deals. They should be
able to meet sales targets and generate revenue for the company.
Customer Relationship Management: Candidates should be able to build and maintain
long-term relationships with clients. They should be able to provide excellent customer
service, resolve customer complaints, and handle difficult situations.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional
languages, especially those commonly used in the European market, would be an
advantage.
Travel Flexibility: The ideal candidate should be willing to travel frequently to meet with
clients and attend industry events.
Cross-Cultural Communication Skills: The local European sales manager should have
strong communication skills and be able to understand and navigate cultural differences.
They should be open-minded and willing to learn about the cultural norms and business
practices.
Adaptability: The local European sales manager should be adaptable and flexible, willing
to adjust to the work style and expectations of company. This includes being open tofeedback and direction, and being able to modify their approach to meet changing
circumstances.
Goal-oriented: Candidates should be goal-oriented and driven to achieve results. They
should be able to work independently and take initiative to identify new business
opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
Collaborative Mindset: The local European salesman should have a collaborative mindset
and be willing to work closely with their colleagues and leaders. They should be able to
take direction and feedback, and be able to work together to achieve shared goals.
Educational Qualifications: A degree in business administration, engineering, or a related
field would be beneficial. However, relevant work experience and skills are usually given
priority over educational qualifications
